The second two-minute trailer for the Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt adventure film based on the classic Disneyland theme park ride of the same name has been released by Disney.
The ‘Jumanji’ star headed to Instagram to reveal a trailer for the new movie, which takes him and Emily on an exciting jungle adventure.
The Jungle Cruise trailer sets up what they’re after: a Tree of Life with “unparalleled healing powers” that Lily claims will change medicine forever. Riverboat captain Frank Wolff (Johnson) and Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) are off on an Amazonian adventure, with the Jungle Cruise trailer setting up what they’re after: a Tree of Life with “unparalleled healing powers” that Lily claims will change medicine forever. They set out on a barely functional boat, accompanied by Lily’s younger brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall), and encounter a slew of issues. As we see Édgar Ramrez’s villain wielding snakes, Frank being pushed away by tree roots, and mystery tribes, Frank plainly states, “Everything you see wants to murder you.”
In the caption, the ‘Baywatch’ star wrote, “Beware. ALL ABOARD for THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!!! Our @DisneysJungleCruise HITS THEATERS AROUND THE WORLD and YOUR LIVING ROOMS on @DisneyPlus with Premier Access on JULY 30!!! NEW TRAILER drop and this one ROCKS (pun intended;) Enjoy ~Dr. Lily & Skipper Frank.”
Along with Blunt, Whitehall, and Johnson, the picture also features Edgar Ramirez, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
Johnson, John Fox, John David, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia, and Beau Flynn all contributed to the film’s funding.
