This backs up what we were told a few weeks ago. We were told that the show would premiere in the fourth quarter of 2021, close to the end of the year.
Netflix, on the other hand, appears to want to keep viewers invested in the show for as long as possible.
Earlier Netflix revealed that the Spanish crime drama, which has been in preparation for many months, has completed filming. The entire cast, dressed in their signature red jumpsuits, is seen sharing a candid moment in a heartwarming photo posted by the streaming network on its social media accounts.
“What started as a heist, ended as a family. It’s a wrap on Part 5 of La Casa de Papel/Money Heist. Thank you to all the fans for being part of La Resistencia (the resistance)! We can’t wait to show you how this story ends,” Netflix wrote in its post.

Although speculation abounds as to who will survive and who will be apprehended by the cops in the show’s forthcoming fifth and final season, the photo only serves to pique our interest. lvaro Morte, rsula Corberó, Itziar Ituo, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Rodrigo de la Serna, Darko Peri, Hovik Keuchkerian, and others can all be seen.
The Spanish crime drama currently holds the title of becoming Netflix’s most-watched non-English title. Money Heist’s fourth season shattered all previous milestones, accumulating a staggering 65 million views.
