Kim Kardashian Turns Heads in Vintage Cavalli at Singapore Grand Prix

Kim Kardashian brought a 2003 designer dress back into the spotlight at the Singapore Grand Prix, making race day a fashion moment of its own.

The SKIMS founder attended the October 11 race at Marina Bay Street Circuit to support boyfriend Lewis Hamilton. Watching from Ferrari’s garage, she wore a pink Roberto Cavalli gown that took her weekend wardrobe in a distinctly vintage direction.

The dress came from Cavalli’s spring/summer 2003 collection, with a detailed pheasant and floral print, a fitted corset-style waist and a deep keyhole opening. Reportedly sourced from My Runway Archive, it put an early-2000s design back in front of a global audience more than two decades later.

Kardashian finished the outfit with rosy makeup and a partially pulled-back hairstyle. The print and neckline supplied most of the drama, leaving little need for elaborate accessories.

Two days, two very different pink looks

Sunday’s Cavalli appearance followed another pink outfit on Saturday, October 10: a sheer Alaïa dress with a visible bodysuit underneath.

That look, from the label’s spring 2024 collection, paired a high neckline with a long, translucent skirt. Kardashian added silver heels and a pink Hermès Mini Kelly featuring Chrome Hearts hardware, wearing her hair in a sleek updo.

The colour connected the two outfits, but the effect changed completely. Saturday centred on sheer fabric and a streamlined silhouette; Sunday introduced print, structured detailing and an archival designer piece.

A friendly reset with Martin Brundle

There was also a lighter moment before the race when Kardashian stopped to speak with Sky Sports broadcaster Martin Brundle, following their awkward encounter at Monaco earlier this year.

“Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” she asked.

She went on to describe her enthusiasm for Formula 1 and said both she and Hamilton felt confident ahead of the race. The exchange gave their previous missed interview a much friendlier follow-up.

Hamilton’s evening proved tougher. After starting third, he finished sixth when an attempt to complete the race with one pit stop failed to pay off. He accepted responsibility for staying out as his tyres deteriorated.

Kardashian was also photographed embracing Hamilton at the circuit, adding a personal moment to a weekend packed with racing and fashion.
