Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris received the Music Icon Award for his impact on global dance and pop music over the past two decades. Known for collaborations with stars like Dua Lipa and Rihanna, Harris thanked his wife Vick Hope during his acceptance speech.
George Michael and Thom Yorke Receive Fellowship Honours
The ceremony also celebrated legendary artists George Michael and Thom Yorke with Academy Fellowship honours. George Michael’s former bandmate Andrew Ridgeley accepted the award on behalf of the late singer, describing songwriting as the heart of Michael’s legacy.
