On Friday, Dec. 17, 2020, after pre-judging, George Peterson, Shaun Clarida, Derek Lunsford, and 212 Olympic champion Kamal Elgargni were in the final callouts for 2019. In the finals, all four athletes were again together in the callouts. Finally, to win the title and the $50,000 reward that comes with it, Shaun Clarida emerged triumphant.

The gold medal was wrapped around a teary-eyed Clarida by seven-time Olympia 212 champion Flex Lewis, who managed to present his best-ever package at the 2020 Olympia.

This year has the entire Women’s Bodybuilding division has returned to the Olympia stage. The last Ms. Olympia rivalry was held in 2014 – so it’s a welcome return of this much adored division.

9x Ms. Iris Kyle, the Olympic champion, returns to try to get her champion status into the double digits. But there are definitely other young and hungry athletes looking to become the next champion with so much time having passed.
