Apple has given its iCloud+ subscription a major value boost in India. The company has bundled Apple TV and Apple Arcade with its paid cloud-storage plans without increasing the existing subscription price.
The upgraded offering began rolling out on September 15, giving subscribers access to cloud storage, original films and series, and a growing catalogue of games through a single plan.
What iCloud+ Subscribers Now Receive
The updated iCloud+ subscription combines three key Apple services:
- Secure cloud storage for photos, files, backups and other personal data
- Apple TV access for original series, films and documentaries
- Apple Arcade access to premium games without advertisements or in-app purchases
Plans in India continue to start at ₹75 per month for 50GB of storage. Family Sharing also allows subscribers to share eligible benefits with up to five other family members while keeping individual files and personal information private.

Existing Subscribers Will Be Migrated
Customers already paying separately for Apple TV or Apple Arcade are expected to receive access through an eligible iCloud+ subscription without interruption. Apple has also said that saved Arcade game progress should remain available during the transition.
The change means users will no longer need multiple standalone subscriptions to access these services through Apple in India. It also makes the entry-level iCloud+ plan more useful for people who previously subscribed only for additional storage.
Apple Simplifies Its Subscription Line-Up
With this move, Apple is placing iCloud+ at the centre of its subscription ecosystem in India. Instead of treating storage, streaming and gaming as separate products, the company is bringing them together under one monthly plan.
The strategy could make iCloud+ more attractive to iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV users who want entertainment services alongside extra storage. It may also encourage free iCloud users, who receive 5GB of storage, to move to a paid plan.
Apple Music Remains Separate
Apple Music is not included as a complete service with the upgraded iCloud+ plans. Subscribers may receive access to Apple Music Select, which offers curated, ad-free stations, while full on-demand Apple Music access still requires a separate subscription.
A Stronger Deal for Apple Users
For existing iCloud+ subscribers, the upgrade delivers more benefits without adding another charge. New users also get a simpler way to combine storage, streaming and gaming under one subscription.
Apple’s decision turns iCloud+ from a primarily storage-focused service into a broader entertainment bundle, making it a more competitive and practical subscription for users across India.
