John Cena Just Went Full Bald and He’s Never Looked More Confident

John Cena hair transplant

John Cena doesn’t do anything halfway, and apparently that includes fixing his hairline. The 17-time WWE World Champion just shaved his head completely and revealed the results of his second hair transplant, and the internet is obsessed.

Cena posted the photo himself, shaking hands with Dr. Ken Anderson of the Anderson Center for Hair, and captioned it “Round 2 of FUE Treatment and this time I went all in for best possible results.” No spin, no PR team softening it. Just Cena being upfront about a procedure he first tried back in 2024.

FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. It moves healthy hair follicles from one part of the scalp to areas that have thinned out, and it’s become one of the most common ways stars quietly deal with hair loss without anyone noticing until they decide to talk about it.

This time Cena didn’t try to hide the process. He shaved his entire head going into round two, something he said gave him the “best possible results” once the new grafts settle in. It’s a big shift from his first transplant in November 2024, when he joked about walking around Budapest with what he called an “alien head” while the swelling went down.

The bald reveal lands with extra weight because of what led Cena here in the first place. He’s talked openly about fans holding up “Bald John Cena” signs at shows for years, and admitted the mockery actually got to him more than he let on at the time.

“If there wasn’t so much shame around it, I’d have gotten it done 10 years ago,” he said last year, looking back on how long he waited. He’s also been clear that a fuller head of hair opens up more range for the acting roles he’s chasing now that wrestling is behind him.

Cena wrapped up his in-ring career for good at the end of 2025, closing things out at a special Saturday Night’s Main Event where he tapped out to Gunther. These days his focus is fully on Hollywood, and by his own account, looking the part matters more than ever.

Fans online have mostly rallied behind him, with plenty pointing out that Cena still looks exactly like Cena, hair or not. Others are just glad he’s talking about it at all, since hair loss carries a stigma most guys never say out loud, let alone post about to millions of followers.

Whether this becomes a full glow-up moment or just another headline in Cena’s never-ending main character era, one thing’s clear: the man knows how to make an update feel like an event.
