ABOUT THE RESTAURANT
Just 5 minutes from the old store, the new restaurant is situated. Baba took full care of the defence. At the restaurant, a CCTV camera was mounted. The restaurant is staffed by 2 chefs and 1 staff member. His old dhaba will also be run by Kanta Prasad, and his son will help him run the new restaurant.
The name of the old man who runs ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ is Kanta Prasad, and the name of his wife is Badami Devi. Kanta Prasad and his wife Badami Devi run ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ together. Situated in B block in front of Hanuman Temple in Shivalik Colony, Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, this Dhaba is served tea-breakfast and lunch.. Both are over the age of 80. Kanta Prasad says that he has a daughter and two sons. But they don’t support any of the three. They themselves do all the work and run the Dhaba alone as well. With his wife’s support, Kanta Prasad does all of the work. They arrive at 6 a.m. and have the whole meal cooked by 9 a.m. They’ll stay till night at the store. Before the lockdown, people used to come over here to eat. But no one after the lockdown comes to their store. They start crying after they say this.

‘Baba ka Dhaba’ in the capital city of Malviya Nagar has become famous overnight. The video went viral a day ago, in which the elderly couple looked very upset. In the video, the elder told how his shop is not selling much. As soon as the video of the elderly went viral on social media, people from all over the country came forward for help. So much so that India’s star spinner R Ashwin and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor also came forward to help.
Gaurav Vasan shared the video AamAadmi Party MLA from Malviya Nagar Somnath Bharti also reached the Dhaba and met the elderly couple. Somnath Bharti tweeted, “Went to Baba’s Dhaba and helped whatever was possible to bring a smile to his face.” I will take care of them even further. ‘ Let me tell you that this video was shared by Gaurav Vasan on his social media account.
Raveena Tandon has written in her tweet- ‘Baba ka Dhaba, Delhi people, show heart. Zomato helped the elderly
